GUARANTEE
We
guarantee quality workmanship in all our merchandise. Every
garment is
inspected including zippers
and beading prior to shipment
so you are assured
that they leave here in top condition. Genuine
defects are very rare.
Delivery Dates
While
every attempt is made to meet or exceed your requested
delivery date, it is not a guaranteed delivery date.
Items
can deliver a bit later in some cases so be sure
to allow adequate time.
A requested delivery date can not be changed
after the
order is placed.

Your entire order will ship together - with the exception
of directly
shipped items,
which will ship
separately. If you want some
items delivered
earlier
than the availability
of other items,
you will have
to place them
on separate
orders.
Stock and directly shipped items normally ship within a couple
business days after your order is received; delivery times depend
on the shipping method you choose and delivery location.
Shipping
Shipping
is by UPS and requires a
full street address (cannot
deliver to a PO, APO, etc.).
Expedited shipping
is available for delivery
in the continental USA and is 2nd
day air to most locations.
Recipients
outside the
United States are responsible
for any duties,
tax or tariffs. Allow several
more days beyond
the quoted shipping
time for locations
outside the
USA and to Alaska/Hawaii.
Sizing
The
appropriate size chart from the manufacturer is provided with
every garment. You are responsible for taking measurements
and selecting the correct size. We provide all the tools necessary
to make a fully informed choice. Keep
in mind that the size charts are provided by the manufacturers
and are average measurements for their entire line - not the
exact measurements of each style. NEVER order a size with
measurements smaller than the wearer. You can always have a
garment taken in or shortened but you usually cannot have it let out
or lengthened. We will be happy to assist with the sizing and
fitting process but will not select your size or guarantee fit
because we are not in control of the accuracy of your
measurements. Alterations may be necessary to perfect
fit so please
plan ahead and allow plenty of time.
Colors
Every
attempt is made
to represent
colors as accurately
as possible
but what you view will vary based on your computer,
your ISP and your monitor.
As in
all garment
manufacturing,
colors will
vary by dye
lot. Swatches
are not available.
Upon Delivery
Open your delivery
and check it thoroughly upon arrival before removing any tags
or packaging to be sure it was filled as placed. If there is
a
problem, have the purchaser contact us by email within
three (3) days. Wearing, altering, damaging, removal of tags or destruction of packaging
constitutes
acceptance of
the order as
delivered. We
are not responsible
if you order the wrong size, style, color or need alterations.
We cannot be
held responsible for items damaged during shipment or upon receipt.
RETURN
POLICIES
Special
order items are not returnable or exchangeable. Why?

Stock items
can be returned
with return authorization.
Request
a Return
Authorization
within 3 days
of delivery.
You will be
provided with an authorization
number, address
and
instructions
by email. All garments
sent for return must have
tags and packaging
attached
in original
condition and the
properly issued Return Authorization
Code clearly marked on the outside of the package. The
garment
must be unworn,
unlaundered,
unaltered and
undamaged to
be accepted.
Packages sent back without the appropriate Return Authorization
code on the box, sent to wrong address or not meeting criteria will not be refunded
or exchanged.
Restocking
Fee
Directly-shipped Christening/baby
items are subject to a 15% restocking fee if returned
or exchanged.
We understand that
some times you wish to look at several items or
consider more than one size of stock items. However,
this can cause us to be out of stock for the next
customer. For this reason and for the additional
service involved, ordering multiple stock Christening,
baby dress, baby suit and/or accessories and returning
some will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Special
order items are not returnable or exchangeable,
so the restocking fee does not apply.
NON-RETURNABLE
ITEMS
Special order items. Clearance items. Shipping
and rush order fees. Socks,
slips, stockings, hair bows, bonnets and headpieces.
Cancellation
of Pending Special Order
No change can be made to
a special order after it has been processed. Customer will be required to pay a
50% cancellation penalty if they cancel theiir special order
prior to shipment. NO cancellations can be
accepted for styles with customized details such
as dying, adding sleeves, extra length or combined colors (such as white/blue or cashmere/pink)
after the order has been processed.
PRIVACY
We
value our relationship with you. We will send our Newsletter
by email telling you about our products and promotions - you can
subscribe or unsubscribe at any
time. We may bring you information about other companies that
you might appreciate but we will never
sell, share or distribute your personal or email information. We are happy to respond to your inquiries
on status of your orders but we cannot give information to a
third party about your order.
Minimum
Order
Minimum
order is $25 (US Dollars) before shipping charges.
Fraudulent
Chargeback
Attempts
An attempt
to reverse or chargeback a credit card transaction you legitimately
owe constitutes
non-payment and fraud. Initiating a chargeback because you have cancelled your event, changed your
mind, or production of your items is still pending constitutes fraud, and
immediate legal action may be taken. In the event that the Customer issues a chargeback or reversal of charges
attempting to not pay for merchandise ordered and delivered or still in production
and not cancelled, for special order
cancellation fees, or for non-returnable merchandise
-
customer will be
responsible for an additional $75.00 billing service fee per occurrence which may immediately
be turned over to collections including all expenses
incurred by them.
Expenses
incurred to The Perfect Pear, l.l.c. to collect
payment beyond that of normal settlement including,
but not limited to chargebacks, Court proceedings,
attorney and collections fees, will be at the expense
of the customer. Customer agrees to abide by the
laws in the County of Macomb, Michigan, USA.
Returned
Checks
Returned checks will incur a $35 fee per occurrence
or per bounce.
Other
Information
Your requests for information by email
will be answered quickly and courteously. We understand that
special occasion planning can create high levels of stress
but will not accept this as an excuse for bad behavior or demands
for exceptions to policies. You will
be
treated with courtesy and
we expect the same in return.
Policies
are not changed by comments by email or claims
of promises made by phone. There are NO exceptions to policies.
Customer
service is by email. Customers are responsible for
providing a working email address that will accept
our communication at all times.
Abandoned Orders
An abandoned order is a situation
where we end up in possession of goods that rightfully
belong to the customer. Customer Service will
make reasonable attempt to contact the customer for authorization
of shipping charges
to have the
merchandise reshipped to them. The customer has 20 days to correct
the situation. Beyond that point the order is considered to
be abandoned. We cannot refund or exchange an abandoned
order. Examples
of abandoned orders include - but are not limited to:
- An
unauthorized return, including: returns without a properly
authorized
Return Authorization code clearly marked on the outside
of the package or not returned on time; items returned
to the wrong address; items which have been worn,
damaged, altered
or without tags and packaging attached in original
condition; any special order merchandise.
- Orders
filled but the delivery address provided on the order
is not good.
- Refused
delivery.
